Senior Application Engineer KidsEnergy currently seeks a Senior Application Engineer (�SAE�) to begin work immediately. The SAE will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer and will be responsible for leading and managing engineering efforts at KidsEnergy, including, but not limited to: � Working with colleagues and/or directly with clients to: o Fix known issues in the current product release o Identify bugs in the current product release o Implement Feature Requests in a timely and effectively manner o Develop Functional Specifications for product enhancements o Develop Technical Specifications for product enhancements o Implement enhancements to future product releases � Managing and mentoring UI designers and junior developers A qualified candidate will possess the following attributes: � 3+ years experience developing web-based applications using: o MS NT/2000 Servers o Cold Fusion 4.0 or later o Microsoft IIS 4.0 or later o MS SQL Server 7.0 or later o Cascading Style Sheets o Javascript 2.0 or later � Significant experience with and mastery of best practices in: o Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) o TCP/IP Networking o Object Oriented Design o Application and Network Security o Quality Assurance Testing o Issue/Bug Tracking Systems � BS or MS in Computer Science preferred, but not required � Ability to work independently and be proactive about identifying, communicating and solving problems � Experience working in a team environment � A happy and healthy attitude about work and life KidsEnergy offers a competitive compensation package, including health, dental, equity options and profit sharing.
