But if there is one campaign I'd pioneer - it's let's give Firth a crack. Any takers? Let's go - PONY up... I challenge anyone who is hiring right now to interview the guy - give him a chance. And if not - why not? - bring it into this forum... ==== unrelated yet related story. My wife needed a career change, a job came open that for some reason she never would have considered applying for (developing and administering for profit sports programs for kids). I saw the ad and pushed her a little - at first she was scared - but as she reviewed her qualifications, and the requirements for the job - it became her dream job. In the application process, maybe second guessing her play for the position, I stressed it was important to get the interview. Not only do you want to get the interview to demonstrate your capabilities and passion for a job - but to make sure you are on track to get a job. I think it is a relatively easy play to get an interview (interested in feedback from hirers here), and important for both parties - to say - "I WANT THIS JOB, I need an interview to make sure I am on track to get this job." The point. I know nothing about Michael Firth except to say - I know he wants to be employed as a ColdFusion programmer. Give him the interviews - if nothing but career planning, there is alot of value for him. I see individuals post to this board that have alot of experience but are looking for employment. Is the job market that bad out there?
