SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS: 1.. The Contractor shall gather business requirements; plan, design, and implement a stateful; user accounts based; database driven web information gathering and reporting application hosted in the public domain. 2.. The contractor shall provide Perl programming expertise to augment ongoing development of a agency-wide publications submission, tracking, and reporting application. 3.. Upsizing legacy databases to MS SQL Server 7: The legacy databases associated with projects, are currently in Access 97 or above. Additional legacy databases that are part of this task are the publications database and the Cooperative Research database , which are in Access 97. All aforementioned databases shall be normalized and upsized (converted) to MS SQL 7. 4.. Debugging legacy Cold Fusion applications: The Contractor shall assist in planning and programming fixes and enhancements to various ad-hoc legacy Cold Fusion 4.01 or above applications. The Contractor shall be required to work along side agency Cold Fusion programmers and document all work. 1.. All Web/Database development shall be based upon Macromedia's Cold Fusion MX and Microsoft SQL Server 7. 2.. Contractors programming Cold Fusion MX must possess a current Advanced Cold Fusion MX certification from Macromedia. 3.. Contractors programming SQL Server 7 must possess a current Microsoft certification in SQL Server 7 programming. 4.. The Contractor shall deliver a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) solution, using 3DES or AES encryption, for all Web/Database development projects that are hosted in the public domain. 5..
