Viatech, Inc. is recruiting for a Senior Application Developer with 3-5
experience using ColdFusion 4.5, 5.0, and MX to develop enterprise wide
applications. We are located in Eatontown, NJ.
Familiarity with Fusebox and Model View Controller design pattern is
required. Development experience must include using ColdFusion Studio or
Dreamweaver MX in a team environment. The candidate must be knowledgeable in
relational database concepts and possess the ability to write T-SQL
statements. The candidate must be able to use _javascript_ and DHTML for
client-side scripting. The candidate must have experience working with
rigorous software quality assurance and configuration management processes
and the ability to debug and troubleshoot in an enterprise application
development environment.
The successful candidate will be a self-motivated team player with strong
communication and problem solving skills, as well as, posses the ability to
mentor and lead others, while handling multiple projects simultaneously.
Must be a US citizen, and able to obtain a Government security clearance. We

Major Objectives for Cold Fusion Developer:
1. Applications Development:
a. Architect/design new applications, including: decomposing the design
into smaller modules that maximizes cross application reuse.
b. Perform development.
c. Support the Project Manager in project planning by building and
monitoring technical schedules to track progress, as well as identifying
skill/resource gaps.
d. Mentor/coach/help other developers deliver a quality product on
time.
2. Process Improvement:
a. Support deploying /enhancing an iterative methodology (e.g.,
FuseBox/Flip) for the ColdFusion team.
b. Support code review / unit test processes for the Cold Fusion team.
c. Support division wide process improvement activities (e.g., Business
Analysis and Quality Assurance Initiatives, use of Test Director for project
coordination and tracking, etc.)
3. ColdFusion/Java Integration:
Support identification of a technology roadmap for the integration of the
Java and ColdFusion environments - in conjunction with the Java and Cold
Fusion team leaders.
