Location: New York, Manhattan or D.C. Northern Virginia.

possible to work remotely.
Need is immediate.
Required and Preferred Skills:
Extensive experience with various Unix versions including Solaris,
FreeBSD, and Linuix.
Solid back ground with Windows NT, 2000, XP and 2003 would be a plus.
SMTP, DNS, SendMail, NIS, NSF/Automounter and others
Experience with a variety of Hardware especially Sun machines
Experience with mass storage and back up like Sparc Storage Arrays, HP
Nike Arrays, EMC Symmetrix , Veritas, ODS, and LVM
Must have experience with networking principles, including routing,
switching, configuring interfaces, and load-balancing, for Cisco and
Foundry equipment. Othere load-balancing hardware is a plus.
Should have some experience with programming languages
Should have experience with packaged applications
Should experience with major application servers such as BEA, WebSphere
as well as experience with MacorMedia ColdFusion.
