Job Description:
uUtilizing WebSphere Application Server within Web-based Internet and Intranet applications or utilizing ColdFusion Application Server. This position may also require UNIX system administration and data backup support for COTS software as requested. Daily responsibilities include UNIX System Administration, administration of and monitoring the success of scheduled backups, WebSphere administration, aiding developers with application architecture, and working with production resources.

Job Requirements:
I am requesting resumes for qualified candidates to meet the requirements as noted below:
Hands-on experience in designing and supportingSun Solaris UNIX infrastructure.
A thorough knowledge of UNIX system administration, hardware/software firewalls, networking, load balancing, and backup solutions.
A strong understanding of TCP/IP.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills and the ability to work with all levels of management and technical personnel.
May work independently but must function well as a member of a team.
Ability to research problems and provide solutions.
May berequested to mentor client project staff.
Self-starter, highly motivated individual required; team player who can adapt to changes in client requirements.
Some overtime may be required (2-4 hours per week).
Hands-on experience in the design and implementation of Web applications usingIBM's WebSphere Application Server (WAS) is a big plus as is knowledge of WAS administration.
