Description:
This is professional, technical and analytical work involving the research, analysis and design of moderately complex Geographic Information Systems and other highly technical software in the Water Resource Department.
To Qualify:
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in computer science, geography, Management Information Systems or related field. Experience in the development and implementation of user training documentation and excellent presentation skills. Hands-on experience in the creation, management and analysis of spatial data with land based GIS applications and data sets a must. Three to five years experience in Oracle programming in a GIS environment preferable. Knowledge of Unix, ColdFusion, Java, HTML and visual Basic and Autodesk products, especially Vision* is desirable.
