Job Description: This position is responsible for providing support for internal IT systems and a web hosting server farm. This position is part of a support team that provides quality service to our staff and clients. We are looking for a well rounded candidate who has worked in complex environments and who has been the "go-to" person for troubleshooting.
As a Senior Network Administrator, you will support Windows 2000, IIS, SQLserver, ColdFusion, and Cisco network gear including routers and firewalls. Candidate should be versed in monitoring tools which ensure 7x24 availability and performance tools like MRTG. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Building new secure servers
* Troubleshooting web site problems
* Implementing procedures which will enhance reliability and security
* Maintain a constantly changing software development environment
* Mentor junior team members
* Periodic on-call pager support
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* 7+ years related experience
* Must have strong networking and troubleshooting skills
* Experience maintaining ColdFusion is highly desirable
* Citrix experience desired
Candidate must be self-motivated and self-teaching. Must have excellent communication and organizational skills to be able to work directly with clients and possess the ability to work effectively and efficiently in a collaborative team environment.
Education: A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent is required, preferably in Computer Science or related field.
