Manager of ColdFusion Programming and Development

The Company: Located 50 miles north of Los Angeles, in a beautiful, less crowded
Southern California coastal community known for its quality of life, the company
is the industry leader in providing Internet solutions for specialty retailers.
The company is privately held and has enjoyed steady, methodical growth over the
last 5 years by implementing and adhering to sound business practices. The
company has developed business applications that greatly enhance their clients'
ability to attract and serve consumers via the Internet. The company is
profitable, and has no debt. Currently, the company's products are enjoying
tremendous success in the bicycling industry, and it is now preparing to deliver
solutions in other verticals.

The Position: Manager of ColdFusion Programming and Development.
Reporting to the co-founder, the selected candidate will manage projects through
all phases of the development cycle. In addition, he or she will be the
technical lead in programming the company's innovative applications. He or she
will lead and mentor other ColdFusion Programmers, and it is the company's
intention that this candidate will have the depth, skills, and desire to grow
into a senior management role as the company grows.

Qualifications.
We seek a candidate who is experienced in the entire software development
process, with emphasis on extremely good technical skills and at least some
management experience. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of
ColdFusion experience and a strong background in developing Internet
applications. The candidate should have at least 6 years total experience in
software development. A college degree in computer science or related area is
preferred. The successful candidate will also have experience working with
version control, and will have an understanding of Fusebox or similar
methodology.

Required Skills/Competency:
Minimum of six years programming experience with Internet applications
Extensive experience with:
Cold Fusion (including CFMX)
MS SQL
_javascript_
CSS
At least moderate experience with:
XML
Experience with the following would be a plus:
Flash Remoting
Flex
