The Academic Technologies department at The George
Washington University, in Washington, DC, is looking to hire a local mid-level
ColdFusion developer either on a temporary/contract basis or,
preferably, as a permanent employee. If you are available for the
former, pay would be hourly, with no benefits like paid leave or
health insurance. If you are available for the latter, the job would
be salaried (salary range is grade 20,
http://my.gwu.edu/mod/vacancies/grades.cfm#20) and offer full
benefits. We already have a terrific graphic designer, so we're
looking for a strong developer background--in both CFML and SQL, as
you'll also wear the DBA hat--rather than a designer-developer. The
environment is CFMX/JRun, with a MySQL (InnoDB) backend. Development
environment can be Windows or Linux; staging and production are Linux.

If you fit the bill and are in the DC metro area, please email your resume to
acadtech<at>gwu.edu. Be sure to mention your availability (temp or perm).

Thank you,
Selena Leary
