The applications are hosted by Giva at MCI and are used by customers over the Internet. The applications are also available for licensing and deployment on the customer premises. Architect high-performance, reusable, easy-to-use application programming, database and UI designs. - Work very closely with product management in refining marketing requirements for enhancements and new applications. Provide estimates for how long a project might take. Offer creative suggestions for implementations. - Perform general Windows 2000, SQL Server 2000 and CFMX administration. - Occasionally interact with customers directly over the phone or via email. - Prepare different application documents (release notes, etc.). - Investigate 3rd party solutions for integrations, and interact with 3rd party vendors as needed. - Work closely with a dedicated team. Technical Skills Required: - Minimum of 5 years of Cold Fusion experience. - CFMX including Verity, CF functions, Java objects. - JavaScript/DHTML - SQL Server, SQL, stored procedures, views, user-defined functions. - Familiarity with Java coding and compiling - General Windows 2000, SQL Server 2000, and CFMX administration knowledge - Familiarity with Active Directory - Understanding about how to create and deploy install programs (InstallShield, etc.) a plus. Must be: - Self-motivated without direct supervision. - Committed to finish critical projects to meet deadlines, sometimes requiring working until completed. - Able to communicate clearly in writing and in conversations and have good command of the English language and grammar.
