Emerald First is designing and building a leading edge technology platform to deliver its innovative consumer financial products nationwide, primarily via the Internet. We have immediate need for the following position described below. An entrepreneurial attitude and willingness to work for a combination of salary and equity is considered a plus. Flex Programmer: We are seeking a temporary, contractual Flex Programmer to work with our internal team to build Flex into both our public web site and back office web-based applications. The opportunity may exist to telecommute, however office visits would be required periodically. The time period for this project is mid-March to mid-June. You would work in a Microsoft shop with a solid team of engineers using the latest .Net technologies. Experience in integrating Flex/Flash and action script with C# and ASP.NET web sites is required. Good experience with writing web services and XML is also a plus. Writing secure code as well as proven experience with best practices in software change management is required.
