Experience: 4 years ColdFusion MX experience, Database experience in Oracle (preferred) or SQL Server. Oracle or MCDBA certification a big plus. Proven CFC experience and code sample required. CFMX certification preferred. JAVA or Perl experience and code samples a big plus. Clearance: Secret (US Citizenship Required). Location: Crystal City (Arlington), VA ASD has an opening for an mid to high-level CF programmer position- this is a preliminary description for a position that will become available shortly. This is a US Government contract with 3 years remaining. This position is ideal for someone with an existing US Government security clearance who has been working on a ColdFusion Team for the last several years and is looking for a semi-autonomous team environment. Our ideal candidate is interested in advancing their career through hard work and training. Advanced Experience with one of the major DBMSs is required (Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase) and experience with Access, MySQL, PostGreSQL is a plus. Have you written stored procs, functions or code utilizing metadata? Experience with and structured MVC programming framework (Fusebox, Mach II, Tartan, customized) is a plus bordering on requirement. Experience developing a portal is a plus. Experience with Java J2EE or ASP would be a plus as well. Demonstrable experience with JavaScript is a plus. Flash, Flash remoting or Flex would be a plus. We know you know HTML. You must be familiar with at least one of the following acronyms and buzzwords: CMMI, PMI, ISO 9000, SOA, EAI. Our ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and the ability to communicate with a wide variety of customers and clients. We lead our clients and make recommendations each step of the way.
