Hi, I have an immediate need for a SR ColdFusion MX Developer for a 5 month project in southern Virginia. A brief job description follows:
My client s looking to add a Senior ColdFusion MX Developer (Application Programmer / Analyst) to their team in southern Virginia. Start is ASAP & project will last for 5 Months. Required modifications on web applications due to client's new UNIX Developers Guide Develop project plan for required changes and then under client supervision, make necessary modifications. Primary responsibilities are designing, developing, debugging, and documenting MX applications. Additional responsibilities include: - Provide accurate effort-estimates for deliverables - Provide maintenance and support for existing applications - Follow and promote industry best practices. Required Skills: Bachelor degree in computer science Strong communication skills, both written and verbal 6+ years of programming, architecture and analysis experience 4+ years architecting and developing MX ColdFusion applications including experience with: - Coding custom tags (both CFM and Java based) - Interfacing with web services - Reading / manipulating XML data structures - Coding SQL & stored procedures with enterprise database systems - Object Oriented programming experience - Familiarity with the following standard web technologies: HTML, JavaScript, CSS, DHTML, XML - Experience using Dreamweaver MX for application development If this opportunity interests you I would encourage you to contact me at your earliest convenience.
