Web Application Developer Several mid-senior level web developers are needed to implement and support a new e-gov initiative. Project will require an excellent grasp of web related technologies and a solid foundation in software development and support. Position requires the ability to produce and deliver on several Workflow, Cold Fusion and Portal technologies and quickly understand and overcome technology integration challenges Essential Duties and Responsibilities ⢠Develop, deploy and maintain mission critical web applications ⢠Aid in the design and development of web applications ⢠Offer technical consultation during the planning of web projects ⢠Maintain and understanding of existing and emerging technologies ⢠Collaborate with various content providers to define business requirements ⢠Able to assimilate with a growing team in the early phases of a new project Knowledge, Skills and/or ability: ⢠Strong development skills with: ColdFusion, JavaScript, HTML, Developer 2000 ⢠Experience developing XML, CSS, Section 508 compliant apps ⢠Experience developing databases in Oracle (9i preferred) ⢠Understanding of integration with several external systems ⢠OracleAS Portal development experience preferred ⢠Development using a workflow tool preferred ⢠Experience with advanced design tools for database source code change maintenance, specifying business and internal program logic, forms and report design. ⢠Experience working in a rapid development environment creating prototype and demonstration applications.
