Political Systems, LLC has an immediate opening for a permanent Developer to join our team building our flagship CRM application. This position will be located in our headquarters in Los Angeles (Brentwood area), and all work must be completed on-site.
Job Description: The Developer will work as part of a growing software development team. The position requires strong organizational, development, and interpersonal skills. Must be able to develop applications under set deadlines, communicate well with others in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Position will be largely coding in ColdFusion MX and some Java. We are willing to train qualified Java or ASP Programmers in ColdFusion. Responsibilities Include ⢠Develop applications under set timelines and technical specifications ⢠Work closely with a small development team on the development of flagship application ⢠Create technical specifications documents as well as other forms of documentation Qualifications ⢠ColdFusion MX or Java Experience Desired ⢠2+ years architecting and enterprise class, mission critical applications ⢠2+ years working with Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and Enterprise Manager ⢠Demonstrable expertise with Object Oriented Programming ⢠3+ years HTML ⢠2+ years CSS (positioning, font management, layout) ⢠2+ years XML, XSLT ⢠2+ years JavaScript ⢠Visual Source Safe ⢠Experience with VB, C#, C++, or Java desirable ⢠BS / MS CS or MIS Degree (or equivalent) Compensation Commensurate with experience and market rates.
