Krate, a NYC-based design studio, is seeking an experienced  
ColdFusion Web Developer.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience in database-driven  
web development, content management systems, and administration. The  
candidate should be a well-rounded ColdFusion expert who has  
developed complex functionality, arrays, CFCs, and reusable code, and  
have experience debugging and working with undocumented code  
developed by others. Candidate should also have thorough knowledge of  
CSS, JavaScript, DHTML and relational databases.

This project/position will utilize CommonSpot, a ColdFusion based  
CMS. Prior experience and working knowledge of CommonSpot is a major  
plus. Some training may be provided. Candidate will be required to  
plan for and build large-scale site from the ground with CommonSpot.


Requirements include:
* ColdFusion
* Demonstrated experience with CSS, JavaScript, DHTML and relational  
databases (SQL Server/Oracle preferred)
* XHTML / XML
* Macromedia Studio MX
* Knowledge of current web standards
* Strong technical and analytical skills


Pluses:
* CommonSpot
* Additional server-side web programming languages such as .NET, PHP,  
etc.


Position:
This is a 4-5 month full time, on-site, freelance/contract position  
(Jan-May 2006). There is also potential for the contract to be  
extended an additional 2-3 months on a part-time basis (June-Aug  
2006). Some travel may be required. Must be able to work on location  
in New York City (studio located in Long Island City).

Early/mid January 2006
