Summary. The Web Development team has overall responsibility for the design, quality assurance, operation, site support and maintenance of the Jobscience recruiting system and the Jobscience network of medical specialty career websites. Reporting to the Director of Product Development, the the candidate will assist in designing, deploying and maintaining the Jobscience HRIS systems built on ColdFusion MX and Microsoft SQL Server Database.
Prior experience in ColdFusion is preferred, but candidates with experience in other scripting environments such as PHP, ASP, or JSP and a willingness to learn ColdFusion will also be considered. Jobscience operates a network of websites for its customers, along with affiliated professional sites and association sites to attract qualified medical professionals, technical and scientific candidates for clients in the fields of healthcare, biopharmaceuticals and medical technology. The company seeks a full time individual with solid project management, multi-tasking and customer support skills, in addition to proven programming capabilities, to assist with the development of Jobscience' recruiting systems. We are looking for someone who wants to eventually have a major role in shaping the development of our enterprise and participating in the rewards. Position Responsibilities * Develop robust enterprise software in ColdFusion and SQL Server * Help in the design and development of core components of the Jobscience recruiting system * Program system components according to design specifications * Test and quality control system modifications prior to release. * Assist the System Architect and lead programmers in the system planning and requirements gathering phase to insure a quality product from quality planning. * Utilize source code control systems to provide system and code stabilization and version control Requirements and Qualifications * 1-2 years of enterprise web application development on high volume sites with large databases. * Experience developing web applications using ColdFusion, JavaScript, HTML, and SQL Server 2000.
