Client Description:
ColdFusion Developer

This is a terrific opportunity for someone with energy and experience who wants
to perform valuable work. The position will serve as a lead developer for an

environments, plus there are prospects for developing future dynamic
applications.

code development is a must.
Competent implementation of MVC, naming conventions, speed optimization, and
security measures.
Knowledge and competence in achieving 100% compliance in such other standards
as 508 and W3C HTML 4.01 Transitional validation.

Strong interpersonal competency, able to deal with people with strong or no
technical skill, as well as with business and content owners at the management
and non-management level.

Code Samples
Candidates should provide code samples. The code should be clean as-is, not
doctored after the fact. A few pointed examples are fine, as long as they are
complete enough for us to trace through their execution. Examples should
include:

SQL code, hopefully something beyond very simple SELECT/UPDATE/INSERT
operations. It can be within a tag as part of an application, or it can be a
backend script or stored procedure. Best practices must be used.
Some code used appropriately, such as in a single, concise user defined
function. Alternatively, if the candidate has no , please show a or written
instead. The function should typically be relatively small and simple, but well
written and meaningful (i.e. not doing something ColdFusion already does
anyway).
Some server side validation (NOT ), form processing, or some kind of user
interactive elements.
