Senior ColdFusion Consultant (2 Openings) Long term contracts (6 month+) Pay Rate: D.O.E. Client Background: Our client is seeking a full-time, on-site Senior Cold Fusion Consultant. With a premier client list of Global 2000 companies primarily in the consumer electronics industry, their customized services include field sales and marketing support, e-learning and content management, interactive services, employee development solutions, promotional marketing and event management. This client is headquartered in Culver City, which is just twenty minutes south of Los Angeles. They are a subsidiary of a leading global advertising, marketing and corporate communications company which is publicly traded on the NYSE. Job Description and Responsibilities: As a Senior Cold Fusion Consultant, you will be required to design, develop, maintain and troubleshoot dynamic web applications. Ideal candidates would possess at least 4 years of day-to-day rapid web application development experience using ColdFusion MX, SQL, HTML, XML and JavaScript. Strong SQL query-writing and CFC-development skills are required; practical knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns such as Mach II and WebServices, CSS and experience with the SDLC are also preferred. The ColdFusion Consultant is expected to code with re-usability in mind, implement new scripting techniques when possible and be up to speed on current ColdFusion MX and other web application development standards. Strong organizational and communication skills and ability to learn quickly and multi-task are also essential. The Consultant will be expected to work on multiple complex projects at the same time.
