Title: Junior Web/Application Developer - Alexandria, VA Summary: GMD Technologies is an Information Technology services company with a commitment to 100% customer satisfaction. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to develop and maintain Cold Fusion websites and applications for both internal and customer projects. Duties: (include but are not limited to) · Develop detailed system requirements and application specifications when necessary. · Develop, implement and or maintain high quality internal and customer websites. · Develop, implement and or maintain web based applications using Cold Fusion and SQL Server. · Effectively maintain documentation and all code-base. · Manage multiple, simultaneous projects. · Manage multiple windows based servers with website, email, cold fusion and SQL Server. · Manage SSL and merchant account processing systems · Manage domain name registrations and renewals. · Maintain relevant skills and knowledge. · Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Salary: $40k/Year - Commensurate with experience Requirements: Must be able to provide project management with a high level of customer service. May be required to work weekends and after-hours in support of critical efforts. Strong verbal, written and problem solving skills. Experience/Education: Specific experience with VB Script, Java Script, HTML, Cold Fusion, IIS, MS-Access, and MS-SQL. Strong knowledge of database principles and systems. Demonstrable project management skills. College Degree preferred but will consider current undergraduates in relevant major. Hours flexible; may be tailored to class schedule.
