Title: Manager, Software Development and Search Marketing
Responsibilities / Duties Responsible for HANDS ON web applications development in the OneSky Jets IT organization with an emphasis in online marketing, search optimization and site usability. Oversee the activities of Jr. IT staff members in developing web applications focused on the sale and execution of private flights and brokered private jet charters, while ensuring compliance with company safety standards and industry growth objectives. The incumbent should be familiar with a variety of the concepts, practices, and procedures such to provide increased web traffic and organic search placement for relevant key terms as well as current hands on experience in web applications development and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques. Oversee OneSky Jets online marketing direction. Provide strategic planning and project leadership for all web properties and online initiatives. The candidate will gain a thorough understanding of the company's goals in the private charter marketplace as well as an understanding of key site metrics so that they may translate their understanding of paid and organic search to increased revenue. Plan and execute online media campaigns including PPC placement, paid inclusion, banner placements, emails, and lead generation. Prospect and negotiate new online marketing partnerships with relevant travel industry partners. Identify website enhancements and build tools that lead to improved conversion rates and revenue per sale. Analyze campaign and site usage data. Provide in-depth analysis of online campaign performance and optimize/grow results based on findings. Plan, implement, and maintain ongoing online creative strategies such as the OneSky Jets affiliate program through a gained understanding of private aviation. Interacts with peers in operations, sales, and Sr. Management to coordinate change and unify goals toward company growth and increased margins. As a leader within OneSky Jets, participate in online strategy development and work to expand partnerships in the private aviation and luxury travel marketplace through networking and constant promotion of company web properties. Requirements * Minimum of 5 years hands on internet based development including participation in designing, developing, and deploying high volume web applications utilizing Coldfusion and Microsoft SQL server. * Extensive experience developing Coldfusion web applications, and MS-SQL server scripts. * Experience managing Google AdWords and Yahoo Search marketing campaigns. * Experience with the design and execution of email marketing campaigns. * Experienced in media buying for banner/web advertising. * Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization Techniques and Organic Placement Strategies. * Minimum of 3 years leading web applications development teams preferably within the online travel space. * Strong verbal communication skills. Able to lead / facilitate meetings and effectively resolve conflict. * Ability to write clearly and concisely. * Ability to work well with others, including end users, Sr. Management, and subordinate IT staff. * Self-motivated; can perform tasks without supervision. * Strong, demonstrated quality focus and work ethic. * Detail-oriented. Able to review own work and the work of others to ensure a high degree of quality. Pluses * Familiarity and hands-on experience with the private aviation, ground transportation, or general travel industry a plus. * Experience with travel, lead generation and custom CRM systems highly desirable. Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline, or commensurate experience in a professional environment, required.
