We are looking for a junior Coldfusion MX web developer to join our company. This is an entry-level position, and experience in the industry is not essential, but you must be able to demonstrate that you have the skills we need. The position will initially be for a 3 month contract, and if our workload continues at its current level, this position will be extended to be full time. Currently, we have 4 other programmers that you will work together with on a wide range of projects. We are looking for someone who is a fast learner, a problem solver and an excellent communicator. You will need to assume responsibility for the portions of projects assigned to you, and finish them on schedule. You will work at Dimentians' office in downtown Toronto, a relaxed and comfortable environment. Our employees are our company, and are more important than any of our clients. There is plenty of free parking, and we are only a 5 minute walk from the subway. Skills that are essential for this position include: - Team communication - Coldfusion MX programming - SQL - Database design - HTML - CSS2 - Javascript - Enough Photoshop/Imageready/Fireworks to lay out HTML pages Other skills that are good to have, but can be learned on the job: - Fusebox 3/4 - Flash - Flash Remoting/Communication Server - XML - IIS administration - Cold fusion MX server admin - Windows server admin - Microsoft SQL server admin - Oracle server admin - Experience with any other web development languages (.NET, J2EE) and application frameworks (Struts, JSF, etc) is a bonus.
