COMPANY OVERVIEW:

Join our client, one of Americas fastest growing privately held companies, as
featured in Inc. Magazine, as they develop the next generation of software
interface internally and into their client population. This is an excellent
opportunity to get in on a ground floor development environment as they are
completely redesigning their web based backend solution.

The client has doubled in size this year to 500+ employees and will double in
size again next year. They are committed to technology as a competitive
differentiator and not just a "means to an end". Culturally, they have built a
team of technologists that are passionate about their craft and excited about
their contribution to the overall corporate strategy and growth. This project
has been identified as the #1 priority corporate-wide, not just the #1 IT
project, so the profile is extremely high. They are *utterly committed* to
technology.

There is a strong upside for career growth because of their significant
expansion rate.

DEVELOPMENT ENVIRONMENT:

The client is migrating from Oracle 10g to SQL server and completely
customizing their applications. They are in search of 4 mid to senior level
ColdFusion programmers with experience connecting Coldfusion to SQL Server
Databases. These are permanent full time positions and require backend
ColdFusion expertise. This is not the right role for someone using ColdFusion
exclusively to design front end web pages and GUI's. Among the tools and
development environments, you will primarily be working with Microsoft SQL
Server, ColdFusion, J2EE, JSP, XML, HTML and JavaScript to architect the
solutions. This development office works in conjunction with another team in
Nebraska. There is minimal travel, but MUCH communication between the two areas.

of the business information flows.
* Participate in requirements identification
* Create design and program specifications
* Develop and deploy error free code according to specification
* Design and document information and system flows
* Develop and perform system test plans

PROBLEM SOLVING/DECISION MAKING:

Typical challenges will include debugging system and programming problems,
coordinating task and project deadlines within a loosely structured
environment, and implementing systems or enhancements with minimal disruption
to the business units. Communication among intra-departmental and diverse
business groups is key to the success of this position.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Demonstrable experience developing web based solutions in ColdFusion AND
tying them into a SQL Server 2000 or better (this joint experience is a *must*
to be considered).
* Familiarity with system design techniques used with Relational Database and
Web based environments
* Familiarity with testing and change control procedures to ensure flawless
systems deployments
* Education is nice, but experience is the driver here
* Passionate about your craft. Must love what you do, and it shows!!

WISH LIST:
* Experience tying ColdFusion into SQL Server 2005 databases

SALARY:
* Open based on experience, but sweet spot is 80-90K plus bonus up to 15%
