Cold Fusion Developer

Seeking a Sr. Cold Fusion Developer to report directly to the application 
development lead. This person will be in charge of coding modules for a new 
development effort. This coder will need to be able to understand legacy code 
and business rules and add new code to the same application without affecting 
the current functionality. Other duties include production support, technical 
writing, database skills (creating stored procedures) and testing.  

 
·         Advanced application experience with ColdFusion 5 or ColdFusion MX.  
                             

•Software debugging skills and techniques. 

•Familiarity with Capability Maturity Model (CMM). 

•Experience in designing database structures using Sybase (Stored Procedures).

•Exerience converting inline SQL to stored procedures

•Ability to work with a diverse group of team members possessing different 
types and levels of skill sets. 

•Good interpersonal skills, written skills and a customer-oriented approach

•Familiarity with Version Manager and bug tracking  

•Experience with HTML

•Experience with production support to resolve business user issues  

•Analyze functional requirements and create program specifications       

 

PREFERRED SKILLS:

 

•Experience with VBS 

•Experience with J2EE

•Knowledge of STRUTS Framework

•Experience with Oracle (PL/SQL) 

•Experience using Mercury's TestDirector 

•Experience with use-case diagramming
