<p>A <strong>Webmaster</strong> is needed at a large association in downtown DC 
(<strong>Metro accessible</strong>). This position reports directly to the CIO 
and you will be able to help drive technology decisions across the 
organization.</p>


Qualifications: 
<ul>
        <li>Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with <strong>5+ years of 
experience</strong>.</li>
        <li>Must have hands on experience developing and coding 
Intranet/Internet applications; knowledge of <strong>HTML</strong> and Internet 
Information Server (IIS); and Interactive web application development and 
design.</li>
        <li>Strong experience with <strong>ColdFusion</strong> a must.</li>
        <li>Experience in database connectivity and software development 
required.</li>
        <li>Requires experience and knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and 
stored procedures.</li>
        <li>.NET and JAVA and VB/ActiveX/COM component development experience 
desired.</li>
        <li>Experience with <strong>CommonSpot</strong> a big plus.</li>
        <li>Flash experience a plus.</li>
        <li>Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills are 
required.</li>
        <li>Must be able to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks 
simultaneously.</li>
</ul>

Essential Functions:<br><br>
<p>Serve as <strong>Administrator for web presence</strong>, including public 
and committee sites, and all other hosted domains. Responsible for maintaining 
the infrastructure for all of the web sites and is the technical lead for all 
enhancements. Duties include:</p>
<ul>
        <li>Serve as administrator and technical lead for Content Management 
System used to support content and for Intranet and committees’ web site.</li>
        <li>Manage all hosted web sites. Includes notifying staff when there 
are problems with any of the web sites and managing contracts associated with 
web development and web site support.</li>
        <li>Administer urls for existing/new committee, marketing, or advocacy 
sites, and site re-directs</li>
        <li>Liaison with contractors and vendors on software bugs.</li>
        <li>Manage enhancements and special applications.</li>
        <li>Responsible for web security.</li>
        <li>Provide technical assistance and training to users of the Content 
Management System and any other web-authoring tools.</li>
</ul>
 <p>This is a full-time opportunity.</p>
