ColdFusion Development Technical Lead
Nucleus Solutions is currently seeking an experienced programmer to lead, support, mentor and inspire an incredibly talented team of Cold Fusion Developers in our technology division in our Clifton Park, NY office. Our ideal candidate will possess the following: Required Leadership/Management Skills 1 to 5 years of team leadership experience, including: ⢠A strong desire to lead a team of developers to solve complex problems ⢠Preparing level of effort estimates for complex technical development ⢠Writing technical design/architecture documents ⢠Delegating assignments to developers and setting goals ⢠Performing code reviews and enforcing coding standards ⢠Ability to communicate effectively with business analysts and customers in requirements gathering and functional design sessions ⢠Responsibility for code quality, including support when off-hours team cannot resolve issue with your group's code Desired Leadership/Management Skills ⢠Experience leading team of developers ⢠Support, mentor and train junior developers ⢠Write and conduct performance reviews, including development goals ⢠Assist in staff retention, selection and hiring decisions ⢠Initiate and reward innovation Required Technical Skills At least 3 years of web development experience, including: ⢠ColdFusion 5.0 and/or MX ⢠Advanced SQL Query writing ⢠JavaScript ⢠CSS Desired Technical Skills ⢠SQL Server 7/2000 ⢠SQL Server DTS Package development ⢠Data Warehousing, ETL Tool, Data Conversion ⢠ActiveX, VB, VBScript, Command Line Batch utilities, PGP/file encryption, FTP, Zip/compression utilities ⢠Experience with Fusebox 3.0 or higher ⢠Data requirements gathering for a reporting system or data warehouse Job Details Bachelor's degree required. Must be highly organized and show great attention to detail. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
