Summary: -------- Graphic User Interface (GUI) Designer / Web Developer is accountable for collaboration with the Director of IT & Operations, Technical Project Coordinator, and the web applications development team to create GUIs for CCEIâs online applications from concept to completion. Graphic User Interface (GUI) Designer / Web Developer will be responsible for the design and integration of interface designs into CCEIâs online applications using a thorough knowledge of XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, and cross browser compatibility. Responsibilities: ----------------- In this role, the User Interface (GUI) Designer / Web Designer will have the following responsibilities: Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: ⢠GUI Design & Integration o Design GUIs based on initial program needs assessment, revising design(s) as needed. o Facilitate and aid in the implementation of the approved GUI into web applications; providing CSS styles for the various components of the GUI. ⢠Usability o Through testing of the GUI as it applies to the project at hand, create and implement data validation through JavaScript, testing and revising as necessary. ⢠Cross Browser Compatibility o Provide an excellent level of cross browser compatibility by testing and revising CSS and XHTML to comply with multiple browser standards. ⢠Supporting Documentation Design o Work with the New Product Development Team to design supporting documentation and marketing materials. Designing marketing & support material templates and implementing provided content into these templates for delivery to print service provider(s).
