--------------- Job Title: Coldfusion Web Designer / Application Developer - Level 3 Job Location: Springfield, VA (Position is in Springfield, VA area but initially will require 6-9 months TDY in Seal Beach, CA. Must be willing to relocate to the Washington, DC area. Job Requisition #: 07-1008594 Job Description: Candidate will design, code, test, document, and install Boeing-developed and commercial off-the-shelf software to develop and maintain a web portal for a large team of multi-contractor mission operations personnel. Candidate will participate in all phases of the software systems life cycle and use common software development processes and techniques to meet customer requirements. Candidate will interface with application users, programmers, architects, systems analysts, and other technical and support personnel. Duties and responsibilities will include the development of new applications and the support of existing applications utilizing ColdFusion, .net, MS SQL Server, Lotus Notes/Domino, and other software tools. Candidate will work directly with customer/users to identify requirements and provide system support. Candidate will participate in team and peer design review, participate in program development and planning meetings, perform scheduling activities based on mission requirements, and in defining technical objectives. Ideal candidate will have experience in system engineering and a background in system integration. Competencies: Strong web application development background using ColdFusion, .net, Oracle and SQL Server is required. Knowledge of application integration techniques and BEA ALUI (Plumtree Portal) and Lotus Notes / Domino development is a plus. Must have excellent organization, written and oral communication skills. Education Requirements: Prefer a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical discipline and at least 4 years' experience in more than one technology discipline. Security Clearance Requirements: Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; U.S. Citizenship is required (will be required to obtain SSBI/TS security clearance).
