Our existing primary web applications consist of multiple Macromedia ColdFusion MX-powered / MS SQL Server database-driven sites. However, the specific technology utilized for any given initiative has been, and will continue to be, selected based on a âbest tool for the job at handâ methodology, with our current applications making at least some use of each of the following technologies / languages: - CFML (including CFCâs and UDFâs), HTML, SQL, JavaScript, CSS, XML, XSLT, ASP, Perl, PHP, DHTML, Web services The Senior Web Applications Developer will be expected to have an excellent, âhit the ground running⦠fastâ working knowledge of our current core technologies - CFML, HTML, SQL, and Javascript â and a familiarity and proven ability to work with all of the rest, (and then some), able to identify, recommend and implement programming languages and technologies appropriate to the project at hand. This position requires high organizational, planning and interpersonal skills, and the Senior Web Applications Developer must be well versed in all aspects of application development. This person will be expected to participate and / or lead in all phases of development including team brainstorming, design, development, QA, deployment, operations, and performance optimization. The Senior Web Applications Developer must be a true team player yet possess the ability to work independently without close, constant supervision.
