We are currently seeking a candidate with entry/mid level design and development skills for a position in Arlington, VA. This candidate will be familiar with web technologies with 1-2 years web development and design experience.
Responsibilities include development of new projects as well as maintaining existing media related applications. Duties also include testing/debugging code as well as interfacing with clients on a regular basis. This job will also require graphics experience, specifically Adobe Photoshop, Imageready, flash is a plus. Other duties include taking verbal or written requirements and turning them into functional applications. Candidate reports to Director of Web Development. Candidates must have 1-2 years experience with web development languages including HTML/XHTML, CSS, Javascript, SQL, and one Server side Language. This candidate should possess working knowledge of relational database design and development. Coldfusion skills are a plus but not necessary if you have proven development experience in a similiar programming language, and are adapt to learning new technologies.
