We have an immediate opening for a ColdFusion Developer to join our team building our flagship application. This position will be located in our headquarters in Los Angeles (Brentwood area).
Job Description: The Developer will work as part of a growing software development team. The position requires strong organizational, development, and interpersonal skills. Must be able to develop applications under set deadlines, communicate well with others in a team-oriented environment. Position will be largely coding in ColdFusion MX and some Java. We are willing to train qualified Java Programmers in ColdFusion. Responsibilities Include ⢠Develop applications and code in CF MX 7 and MS SQL Server under set timelines and technical specifications ⢠Work closely with a small development team on the development of flagship application ⢠Create technical specifications documents as well as other forms of documentation Required ⢠2+ years ColdFusion MX or Java Experience Desired ⢠2+ years working with Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and Enterprise Manager ⢠3+ years HTML ⢠2+ years CSS (positioning, font management, layout) ⢠2+ years XML, XSLT ⢠2+ years JavaScript ⢠Visual Source Safe ⢠CS or MIS Degree (or workplace/experience equivalent) Desired ⢠Demonstrable expertise with Object Oriented Programming ⢠Experience with VB, C#, C++, or Java desirable ⢠BS / MS CS or MIS Degree (or equivalent) required Compensation Commensurate with experience and market rates.
