Sr. Analyst/Programmer - Web Application Development Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, currently seeks a seasoned Analyst/Programmer to serve as a member of the technical team that supports mayoclinic.com, a website that provides health information to consumers, corporate subscribers, and syndication audiences. You'll be responsible for designing and implementing web-based applications and services; monitoring and maintaining multiple web sites; developing a comprehensive Content Management System to create text, multimedia, and interactive components; and supporting ancillary functions such as search, FTP, site usage reporting, performance monitoring, and 3rd party contact integration. This position requires a bachelor's degree in computer science and 3+ years' professional IT experience, preferably in web application development. Knowledge of project management, the Internet, and information systems architecture and development is also required. Superior decision-making, communication, and listening skills are essential.
The qualified individual must also have significant knowledge in a variety of technical areas, including: Cold Fusion, CF version 7, frameworks (Model Glue, ColdSpring, FarCry or Mach II), SQL, JavaScript, HTML and CSS, XML/XSLT, TCP/IP networking protocols and security, web services, NT and UNIX system tools and utilities, object oriented design and development, application development with MS Windows, data modeling and design on enterprise level DB (Microsoft SQL Server), and rich internet application development (Adobe Flex, Adobe Integrated Runtime or AJAX).
