Position Summary of Duties
This position primarily consists of development and deployment of internal
projects, system upgrades and the inception and creation of additional features
to be added to our websites. It also includes maintaining our existing
clientsâ websites, including the initial set up for new clients, and
providing continuing technical support. A proficiency in Cold Fusion
programming and SQL Databases is required. 2+ years experience is recommended.
A qualified candidate for this position will be able to achieve the following:
-Investigate, analyze, and resolve complex application issues
-Estimate development time for individual programming projects
-Design, code, compile, and test new applications
-Design and build interfaces with both internal and external applications
-Communicate on a professional level while providing technical support for
clients
-Perform well both independently and as a small team member
-Maintain and optimize a database (create and manage triggers/indexes)
Technical Skills
Where as Cold Fusion 5/MX and Microsoft SQL 2000 are the primary technologies
used in this position, it is also important to be familiar with the following:
HTML, Query Analyzer, Enterprise Manager for MS SQL, CSS, JavaScript, Windows
2000 Server, Microsoft IIS, Basic knowledge of protocols (TCP/IP, FTP),
Microsoft Excel, and Data Transformation Services (DTS).
Although not required for this position, these optional technical skills may
give you an advantage over other applicants: VB, Java, C++, Basic DHTML, MS
Access, and Cold Fusion Certification.

Title: Internet Application Developer
Shift/Hours: Monday-Friday work week
1st Shift: 7am â 4pm
2nd Shift: 10am â 7pm
Includes an alternating on-call schedule for emergencies
Benefits: Full benefits are available
Office Environment: Small office, friendly and relaxed environment in downtown
Elgin, IL.
Dress Code: Corporate-casual
