I am seeking a ColdFusion Developer to assist in existing client applications
and new applications on the horizon. Telecommuting is allowed. All work is paid
by the project so you can work off hours if needed as long as the task is
completed on time.
Candidate will be required to create, maintain and improve web applications for
in-house and client based applications, Utilizing web standard and best
practices. The developer defines and develops solutions to advanced technical
issues and content flow. Candidate will work closely with other developers in a
test environment and will assist in documentation.
The position requires experience in working directly with clients to scope,
develop and document requirements in order to develop web sites and
applications.
Candidate must be a self-motivated team player with positive attitude and have
the ability to work independently and as a part of a team. Candidate should
enjoy dealing with diverse challenges and look forward to learning new
technologies.
The developer's main focus is to develop and enhance new site features, refine
functionalities, and help develop and manage in-house tools and products.
Required Skills:
* Ability to work independently and extremely efficiently to complete projects
on time.

* Ability to think outside the box.
Technology:
* ColdFusion 6.1 MX - 8
* Eclipse is preferred
* CCS
* Javascript
* SQL Server 2000 - 2005 (StoredProcs are widely used)
* MySQL
* Ajax (cf8, CFAjax or JQuery is preferred)
The position may also require knowledge of system architecture practices,
front-end development such as Photoshop and Flash.
