Manager, Web Content Technology The Web Technology Manager is responsible for working with the Foundation's Web and Print Publishing Team (responsible for the organization's websites and magazine) to leverage technology to present content in a dynamic, educational, and engaging format. This requires extending the base abilities of the CMS through Cold Fusion programming, SQL Server development, and other web technologies. The Manager will be key to participating in content strategy development with the core team and extended stakeholders. The Web Technology Manager would be required to have a wide range of skills, as well as the ability to learn new technologies, skills and techniques independently and quickly. The position requires an expert level of development skills, and candidates will be required to act as technical lead on all web content development projects, including but not limited to Rich Internet Applications and framework/API development. Candidates would be required to provide time estimates for work, status updates, and deliverables. Candidates will be responsible for on-time delivery, as well as learning new technologies and tools, should the need arise. Candidates should expect to work on projects using many tools and technologies, including but not limited to, Flash, FLEX, ColdFusion, JavaScript, HTML, and others. This position requires an individual that has a strong programming background, excellent problem-solving skills, and strong communication skills. Candidates should also expect to have direct contact with website stakeholders regarding technical issues, status, and deliverables, so strong interpersonal skills are also a must. Specification writing skills are a plus.
