Part time telecommuting position available for a ColdFusion programmer for 2-3 months. Must be willing to set up a work schedule and be available 20 hours minimum per week at specified time frames/days. Pay is commensurate with experience and skill level â up to $50.00 per hour. Collegeboxes is in the process of adding wireless bar code scanners to our drivers across the country and integrating this system into our existing backend and building messaging systems and tracking pages for our customer will be a major focus of the upcoming projects. Qualifications: - 1-3 years experience with ColdFusion (Certified ColdFusion Developer preferred) - Knowledge of CF functions, CF tags, custom tags, user defined functions, complex structures and data types - Relational database and SQL skills, and the ability to understand and architect database structures in order to formulate complex queries Additional Preferred Skills: AJAX, JAVA, JavaScript, HTML, PHP, CSS, Graphic Design, General Programming Skills, Analyzing Information , Problem Solving, Attention to Detail, Software Design, Website/Software Debugging, Website Development Fundamentals, Documentation, Testing. Job Description: Individual should possess strong analytical and problem solving skills, and should be self-driven and able to work independently. He/she will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing systems and programming requirements to support existing and future software/website applications. Other duties include: ⢠Maintain existing applications already built and used by Collegeboxes. ⢠Evaluate and implement new features, functions, ideas and initiatives. ⢠Prepares reference for users by writing operating instructions or works with Project Coordinator to develop documentation. ⢠Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. ⢠Continuously work with Full Time Software Architect to complete projects on deadline.
