JOB DESCRIPTION: Web Application Developer General: This is a full-time position in Downtown Minneapolis, MN with the main responsibility of developing and maintaining internal software applications for a group of business/legal/financial niche websites. This position reports to the Corporate Business Information IT Department. Primary Role: 1. Maintain ColdFusion MX / MS SQL Server web-facing and internal administrative applications. 2. Provide development team and manager with the status of progress and potential issues. 3. Participate on project teams to enhance and/or build software applications. 4. Interface with business areas and assigned clients. 5. Support implementation of new architecture and programming standards. 6. Support basic user operation of internally developed software. 7. Participate in departmental and general staff meetings. 8. Other duties as assigned. Business focus can change rapidly, ability to adapt is key. Travel: There is some potential for regular interval travel to client sites. Telecommuting part time/part time in the office is also an option.
