Job Description:
We are looking for a talented UI expert to develop the user interface for 
various 
web-based applications and ultimately contribute to a high-quality user 
experience.  As the UI Developer, you will be responsible for web front-end 
development, working along side our applications development team, to design 
and 
develop the presentation layer. You will also be responsible for some graphic 
design and production (typically iconography), and for the coordination of 
design 
and usability. 

Core responsibilities include: 
•  Act as the design lead for software development projects; 
•  Create the designs through a collaborative process;
•  Write presentation layer for several web-based applications;
•  Design and implement the user interface for our web-based applications 
using 
HTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript and Photoshop
•  Hands-on involvement in every phase of development: design, code, test and 
document software;
•  Organize requirements into development tasks and execute;
•  Participate in requirement gathering and analysis activities;
•  Prioritize workload to meet deadlines for assignments in the code release 
schedule; and
•  Work closely with the Project Management Office and Operations Leads to 
understand operational workflow and existing inefficiencies that need to be 
addressed.

Job Qualifications:
•  Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design, Computer Science or related field 
preferred, but will consider applicants with equivalent work-related experience 
with a minimum educational requirement of a H.S. Diploma or GED equivalent; 
•  5+ years of experience with user interface design is required;
•  Must demonstrate interface design ability with measurable results;
•  Excellent teamwork as well as verbal and written communication skills;
•  Proficient in software tools needed to complete design projects 
successfully: 
HTML/DHTML/XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, Photoshop, and full command of 
cross-browser/performance/web-standards issues are required; XML, Flash, AJAX, 
Flex, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, SharePoint and Visio highly preferred, 
knowledge 
of Web Services, ColdFusion is a plus;
•  Experience developing information architecture, workflow/interaction 
diagrams 
and screen mockups;
•  Experience working with source control and/or bug tracking software; such 
as 
WinCVS, Bugzilla, etc. a plus;
•  Strong conceptualization skills and ability to provide workflow solutions 
to 
complex problems;
•  Ability to articulate design concepts and solutions verbally and in 
various 
written documents as necessary;
•  Ability to work equally well in a team environment and independently with 
minimal direction; 
•  Strong categorization/data organization skills;
•  Experience designing for web-based applications
•  Knowledge of basic data and workflow modeling methodologies;
•  Experience working directly with customers and internal users to collect 
quantitative and qualitative usability information;
•  Must be able to work well in fast-paced, highly-interactive and dynamic 
environments; and
•  Must be able to present and explain a detailed portfolio of your UI work.
