Intermediate ColdFusion Developer
Job Description
iLogic currently has an opening for the role of Intermediate ColdFusion
Developer. This position is responsible for developing, implementing and
maintaining web applications /solutions. Technologies include ColdFusion, Java
Script, Transact-SQL in a Microsoft SQL Server Environment. Work load includes
new project rollouts as well as enhancement and maintenance of existing
applications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
⢠Develop, enhance, maintain, and support web applications
⢠Actively participate in code reviews
⢠Provide documentation both in program code and user documentation
⢠Work both independently and collaboratively with team members and
demonstrate innovation and accountability of assigned responsibilities
⢠Research technical issues and provide recommendations
Required Skills and Experience:
⢠2+ years in web development
⢠Intermediate Skill in ColdFusion (including but not limited to version
6, 7, and 8)
⢠Experienced in Fusebox (including but not limited to version 3, 4, and
5)
⢠Experienced in SQL Server 2000/2005.
o Solid understanding of stored procedures, functions and views
is a must.
⢠Experienced in XHTML/CSS
o W3C web standards
o Browser compatibility
o CSS Browser Hacks
o Table/Table-less Layout
⢠Experienced in JavaScript
⢠Good analytic skills - ability to document, understand, maintain and
troubleshoot existing code
⢠Source control with SVN
⢠Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
⢠Experience in the full software development cycle
⢠Excellent verbal and written communication skills
⢠Ability to be flexible and meet project deadlines
⢠Honesty and integrity
Desired Skills and Experience:
⢠Knowledge of other Model-View-Controller architectures
⢠SQL Integration Service, Reporting Service, Analysis Service, Log
shipping
⢠Mission critical or enterprise level software development experience
⢠Product development experience
⢠Logistics industry experience
⢠Knowledge management / content syndication experience
