Job Description: Webmaster Perform a variety of tasks incorporating all aspects of development, implementation and maintenance of the Firm's website, intranet and extranet. The Webmaster will be working with designers, technical staff and Marketing to maximize the Firmâs Internet presence. This position will be responsible for: updating the site with Marketing bulletins and Firm news, etc., backups, developing new features for the site and ensuring user accessibility to the site. The Webmaster will monitor site traffic and will work with search engines to generate additional traffic. The successful candidate must have an excellent knowledge of HTML, ColdFusion, JavaScript, and SQL.
1. Primary support for all Web development and initiatives. 2. Posts Firm news to the Website and removes outdated links and information. 3. Researches new initiatives and makes recommendations for web site enhancements. 4. Responsible for email blasts for the Marketing department. 5. Responsible for mailing lists acquired via the Website. 6. Responsible for web/sql server maintenance. 7. Assists with Portal and Extranet support. 8. Works with designers to implement site look.
