Ettain Group is seeking a Web Application Developer with significant experience in ColdFusion MX, Oracle and MS SQL Server database development, preferably with experience in an object-oriented (OOP) flavored, model-view-controller (MVC), environment like Model-Glue. This position is located in Centreville, VA. Pending on your interview this could be a Direct Placement or Contract to Hire position. As a Web Application Developer, your duties will include: ⢠Requirements gathering through communicating with internal clients ⢠Specification formation and analysis for proposed integrated solutions ⢠Time and resource management throughout the development life cycle ⢠Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable software solutions for multiple internal clients ⢠Supporting new as well as existing internal client relationships by identifying and resolving potential defects, while concurrently maintaining a code base common to all applications and internal clients ⢠Work with the development team to plan, perform, and maintain routine product modifications, enhancements, and upgrades Qualifications Required: ⢠Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Web-based applications development utilizing established software development methodologies in ColdFusion, Oracle and MS SQL Server. ⢠HTML, DHTML, XHTML, CFML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL, user-defined functions, stored procedures, triggers, and Windows Server running an IIS Web server ⢠Strong abilities to grasp new technologies and acquire new skills through independent study, professional training and interaction with other team members ⢠Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in team atmosphere ⢠Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities Qualifications Desired: ⢠4-Year Degree in Computer Science or related field ⢠Working knowledge of⦠o AJAX o Flash o JAVA o MS .NET Technologies o MS SharePoint collaboration tool o Eclipse, Homesite+, or Dreamweaver IDE o CVS, TortoiseCVS, WinCVS, Subversion (SVN) or other related source control software For immediate consideration, please send your resume to Shawn Seager at [EMAIL PROTECTED] and follow up with a phone call to 703-860-6690 x 210.
