We're a PHP shop looking at options for proceeding with a client who just upgraded to ColdFusion 8. We're strategizing and designing the site, but will need to outsource the ColdFusion construction and integration with their existing database and CMS.
I'll get more specific if you're interested. To help with the estimate I'd provide a wireframe, link to their current site, a map of their current database, and a new site map. For the project, we'd then provide the PSD, the complete site organization plan, CMS access, as well as full access to the database. Nothing more than construction would be expected. The expected turnaround would probably be six weeks, commencing I'd say around June 20. Though the initial construction contract would be with my firm, maintenance contracts would be directly with the client. Extreme preference will be given to firms in the Washington, D.C. area, followed by individuals in the Washington, D.C. area, followed by those on the east coast.
