Job Location: Chicago, IL Job Description: Our client is experiencing rapid growth and seeking a talented senior web/Coldfusion developer with an entrepreneurial spirit. In this Production Service role you will be responsible for mentoring and guiding a team of developers in creating âevent micro-sitesâ, flash based survey forms, and custom data transfer services. The Senior Web/Coldfusion Developer will be a seasoned professional with several years of experience developing web applications. In addition they may have experience as team lead mentoring entry-level developers on best practices and code reviews. The candidate should be comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment and working with a dynamic, collaborative development team. We are seeking an individual looking for a new challenge at a smaller, rapidly growing company, where they can have a large impact. Responsibilities: ⢠Work under the direction of the Senior Manager, Production Services. ⢠Develop solutions primarily using Coldfusion and Flash on Apache/Linux/MySQL stack. ⢠Responsible for confirming requirements, developing and testing client websites, and managing product deliverables to targeted release dates. ⢠Mentor team-members on standard development best practices, reinforcing concepts with ongoing code reviews. ⢠Assist in creating ad-hoc reports and data transfer processes for our clients. ⢠Contribute creative ideas to the R&D team to improve the product suite. ⢠Perform rotating technical support role once every 4-5 weeks, which requires answering client calls during technical support hours (including weekends). ⢠Occasional travel to assist at events is required.
