Summary The Web Developer is responsible for creating and maintaining websites (including the companys website and client-based websites), troubleshooting technical issues, and helping to improve architectural components and overall system performance.
Core Responsibilities Develop and maintain client-based websites and the companys website according to requirements. Work with Technology Manager to estimate project timelines. Responsible for completing Unit Testing and Assembly Testing on all code. Responsible for fixing bugs during Testing Phase of a project. Complete deployments and deployment verifications for all websites. Resolve all assigned technical issues (internal and external). Manage corporate web servers and database servers. Develop and maintain stored procedures via Microsoft SQL Server. Help create processes, tools, and best practices for overall website development and daily tasks. Recommend and research new technologies that could be of benefit to the company. Conduct performance testing and performance tune the database structure. Conduct performance testing and performance tune Microsoft SQL Server.. Must Have Skills/Experience 1 or more years of experience with ColdFusion. 2 or more years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server. 2 or more years of experience working in a structured Development team environment. BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience. Experience creating and maintaining websites according to business requirements and specifications. Experiencing writing SQL Queries and Stored Procedures in Microsoft SQL Server. Strong task planning, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Experience with a Software Development Lifecycle process. Knowledge of various website development concepts and tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven experience of working effectively in a team and as an individual with minimal supervision.
