Job Description We are looking for a cutting edge Web Developer/Designer with Coldfusion and SQL Server experience to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing and deploying Enterprise-level websites with supporting applications. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced developer to have a high level of input into site design and development. Duties and Responsibilities ⢠Work with web development team to design and maintain internal and external web sites and ensure that they are visually effective, accessible and easy to use ⢠Translate non-technical business requirements into dynamic, functional web applications ⢠Manage a queue of requests of varying scope and complexity ⢠Assist in creating and maintaining site infrastructure and supporting systems ⢠Support web analytics and search engine optimization efforts through diligent coding practices ⢠Communicate effectively with clients ⢠Play an active role in website planning and innovation Preferred Qualifications ⢠Extensive experience working in ColdFusion/ColdFusion 8 ⢠Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Flash, CSS, AJAX, jQuery, ⢠Ability to create dynamic pages utilizing database integration. Experience using SQL Enterprise Manager and relational database design. ⢠Have proven experience in website architecture, design, development, database, creation of reporting and administration tools. ⢠Knowledge of web standards and browser compatibility issues ⢠Understanding of SEO best practices ⢠Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines ⢠Exercises excellent judgment in analyzing and resolving complex issues ⢠Exceptional attention to detail ⢠Effective oral and written communication skills ⢠Experience with MS Office applications Basic Minimum Qualifications ⢠3-5 years of professional web development experience with a solid understanding of graphic design and application development ⢠Candidate must have a portfolio or examples of websites to be considered for this position Bonus Qualifications ⢠Flash design and/or ActionScript ⢠508 compliance rules and regulations and/or government website experience. ⢠Medical or scientific technology/background/experience.
