We are currently in search for a Sr. ColdFusion Web Developer with Oracle experience for a position based at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, MD. In particular, this work is with the NIH's National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS). Position Description: Act as a senior developer in software development efforts; Develop web applications using ColdFusion to run on an Oracle backend; Responsible for the design, development, unit-testing and maintenance of web applications; Serve as backup for full-time Oracle DBA. Position Requirements: 5+ years experience developing web applications in ColdFusion with experience developing ColdFusion Components in MX; Deep knowledge of MS-SQL Server & Oracle databases; Experience in software/application design; Experience with ColdFusion frameworks (e.g., Model-Glue); Experience in writing SQL statements; Strong written and verbal communication skills; Strong analytical and problem solving skills; Experience in Oracle database administration and data modeling; Experience with data warehouse concepts/implementations.
