Concretely, we're looking for a strong hands-on Software Engineer ColdFusion with an Architect mindset and a very strong UI development background, with proven success under the belt. Excellent understanding of OOP concepts is a must, as is knowledge of multi-layered application design and implementation, client/server interaction in the age of âWeb 2.0,â component analysis / design / development / implementation / maintenance. You will be responsible for both an UI Framework as well as server-side applications, all written in-house; your primary focus will be on UI technologies. You should be a great team-player with strong interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills. More specifically, you should have: * Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in CS or CSE * Previous responsibility for producing quality and high-performance web applications for medium to large enterprise customers * Solid experience with requirements analysis and production of efficient architecture and its implementation * 4+ years of experience developing web-based applications and portals using industry web technologies within a multi-tier architecture, both client and server side components * 4+ years of working experience with ColdFusion * Solid experience with Verity Collections, CFMAIL, ColdFusion task scheduling, Server Administration * 1+ years of working experience with Java EE based web technology stack including JSP, Servlets, Hibernate * 4+ years of working experience with client side web technologies including HTML/DHTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, AJAX, jquery * 4+ years of experience with relational databases and related technologies such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, SQL and PL/SQL * 4+ years of working experience with Web 2.0 technologies like Google Web Toolkit, JSON * Good Understanding of web design principles, OO/MVC/JEE design patterns and performance tuning of high-traffic web applications * Experience with optimizing application / web server performance, including caching, compression, load balancing, data-access, etc * Experience with Dreamweaver * Experience with VSS, TFS, CVS * Experience with defect tracking tools such as Clear Quest Apply online at http://www.recruitingsite.com/csbsites/wstm/JobList.asp , forward your resumes via email to [email protected], or call (866) 953-8800 and sell us on why you are right for this position. *Please note that Workstream will continue to accept application for this position on an on-going basis in order to build a pool of potential candidates in advance of the next open position due to business growth or turnover.
