ColdFusion Developer JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our nonprofit organization is currently looking for a talented Cold Fusion developer to work in Downtown Washington DC. The Developer is responsible, in collaboration with management, for the analysis, definition, design, programming, development, initial testing and implementation of interface, database, application, and/or web-related projects. Additionally, the Developer is responsible for the evaluation, implementation, upgrade, and support of changes to existing interfaces, databases, applications, systems, and/or Web-related projects. The position will simultaneously support a senior level CF developer and a diverse set of customers and stakeholders. The Developer modifies and creates systems procedures, and develops and maintains the necessary documentation, ensuring that all projects are developed according to established standards, procedures, and specifications. Base Pay: $80000 to $90000 per year based on qualifications JOB REQUIREMENTS: ⢠5+ years experience developing web applications with ColdFusion ⢠Knowledge of HTML and Javascript. ⢠Experience with CFCs, custom tags and other advanced features of ColdFusion. ⢠Experience with enterprise databases such as SQL Server. ⢠Understanding of database concepts such as referential integrity, joins, indexes, etc ⢠Adobe/Macromedia certification in ColdFusion ⢠Strong oral and written communication skills. ⢠Familiarity with CSS, AJAX, and developing usable interfaces. ⢠Experience with Flash, Flex and/or RIAs would be helpful.
