Established Baltimore advertising agency seeks an experienced ColdFusion/Web Application Developer who is committed to high-quality code, emerging technologies, and excellence in user experience. In this role you will be involved in building core Web site functionality, developing new features, improving usability and performance, and integrating our projects with a wide variety of third party applications (including content management and analytics systems). The ideal candidate will be a regional freelance resource; the position is part-time with the potential to develop into full-time.
Primary duties include contributing to project requirements, writing secure, tight, and scalable code, creating innovative solutions to technical and business challenges, and ultimately ensuring a superior online brand experience for our clients. Qualifications: ⢠Bachelorâs Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field ⢠3+ years of advanced web application development in a fast-paced, marketing-oriented environment ⢠ColdFusion experience is required, but experience with .NET, PHP, Ruby, Python, C#, Java is also highly desired ⢠Strong SQL and data modeling skills, database administration and performance tuning are a plus ⢠Experience with HTML, XML, javascript, and CSS.
